In collaboration with FIGARO'S GARDEN, we are offering a hand-built plant pot workshop.

Join Maree and learn the basics of handbuilding a plant pot. You'll walk out having made a pot or two. Our staff will dry it and glaze it and it will be ready for you to pick up in 3-6 weeks, along with a gift card to FIGARO'S GARDEN so you can fill that brand new pot with a plant at their Victoria Drive store. https://www.figarosgarden.ca/

*We need at least 4 people to run this class.

Classes held at 1803 East 1 Ave, Vancouver, BC. Use the entrance in the alley.

What's included

For the class price you get not only instruction, but also some clay, use of our wheels and tools, your choice of studio glazes. Our technicians fire your work for you. Your completed work will be ready for pick up 2 weeks after your class ends-please pick it up within 3 weeks as we need the space for the next students. Please note, that all work not picked up will be discarded.

What to bring

Wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes. We have aprons and tools for you. Please note that our studio is small and you will need to be considerate of others.

Clay experience needed

All of our classes are taught at a beginner-intermediate level. If you have some previous experience in clay please let us know and feel free to request more advanced demos from your instructor. You are welcome to use your class time to advance your skills and our instructors are here to guide you in technique.

Fine Print

Please note that we need at least 4 participants to run the class. Should we not get the minimum requirements, you will be notified and we will refund your fee. If there are openings in other classes, we will offer that to you.

In all other instances, all class sales are final. In the event a student is not able to attend a class, we do not offer refunds, make up classes or drop in access in lieu of attending class. Please make sure you are able to attend all classes in a course before registering.

We do not allow guests or visitors to attend our classes with registered participants.

Food and drink

Please note that food and drinks are not allowed in the studio, though you can bring in your water bottle. When working with clay, for everyone's health and safety, we ask you do not eat or drink.
